Vice President/ Team Director

Mike joined ConferenceDirect as Vice President / Team Director in 2001 after a 21 year career in Hotel Sales and Marketing. Mike works for a diverse group of customers from both the association and corporate communities. While with ConferenceDirect, he has managed the search/RFP process and negotiated Hotel and Convention Center contracts for well over 1000 meetings with attendance from 50 to 7500 people. Drawing on his extensive hotel experience, including Director of Sales/Marketing rolls at the 1600 room Hilton New Orleans Riverside and 1250 room Hilton Atlanta, Mike is able to efficiently and effectively communicate the needs of the organizations he represents to hotels and conventions centers so the organizations have a solid foundation on which to build their programs. He is a member of industry leading associations, including PCMA, ASAE, TSAE, MPI and IAEE. As Team Director, he also is responsible for recruiting new ConferenceDirect associates and for the training and ongoing support of his team members.
